October Show-Bread & Cie - San Diego

If you happen to live in San Diego or are visiting- Please stop by "Bread & Cie" in Hillcrest on University at 4th. The food is great- best bread in San Diego without a doubt - and oddly one of the better places to show art! This is due to the fact that Elizabeth Cumming, with her brilliant eye, has been curating since the opening of Bread & Cie. I am flattered and pleased to have a second opportunity to display my artwork there!

Moved again this past summer

This new space in Berkeley has wonderful light. The spaces around it house other sculptors, an art foundry, wood workers, several architects, and a Hawaiian dance studio!
I'm sharing the studio with one of my favorite people Nina MacKenzie, a fabulous glass artist.
I also share the space with a new friend Vea, a silk screen artist.

"Persian Dance" sold at the Opening!

Finally was able to get back to seriously working in my studio this winter. I've spent the last few months working on pieces for the ACCI show http://www.accigallery.com/Index01.htm  Ancestors,Totems, Icons & Dolls. I have a lot of creative energy these days!!

New Studio

I spent part of the month of June and all of the month of July 2011 moving to a new studio.
I'm renting the loft section of a studio at the "Tannery Lofts" - located at 4th & Gilman in Berkeley-
from a woman artist - Diane Rusnak http://www.realmeaningofdreams.com/dianerusnak.html
